Pro series

Pro series IP camera with real WDR and hybrid light.

The build for scenes with a hard light difference in the frame: a bright gate, a dark doorway behind it, and one camera that has to hold both.

What real WDR changes

A camera without wide dynamic range exposes for the average of the frame, so the gate goes white and the person under the awning goes black. Real WDR combines two exposures inside the sensor and keeps both ends readable.

The practical test is your own site. Point the camera at the gate at the hour the sun is worst and look at the face, not at the wall. Exposure settings on a normal camera can hide the problem in a still and fail on a moving person.

Two lights on one body

Smart hybrid light keeps IR for the wide view and switches on white light when the camera decides the scene needs colour. That matters at a barrier where a plate or a jacket colour is the evidence, and it keeps the white light off for most of the night.

Both the decision and the light level are set in the camera menu, so the same body can be quiet on a residential street and bright on an industrial gate.

What to check before you specify

Confirm the mounting height against the angle you need, because WDR recovers light, not geometry. Confirm the lens against the distance to the gate, and confirm the recorder can hold 6MP at the frame rate you want.

If the site also needs to identify a face at 40 m, the Pro body is the wrong tool: step to a dome with optical zoom.

Pro series, model by model

The two 6MP Pro bodies differ in body shape rather than in sensor. Both carry real WDR and smart hybrid light.
