Explosion proof fixed camera for pump rooms and tanks.
No moving parts, one cable, one view that never changes: the body that suits a wall, a vessel or a loading rack end.
One body, no moving parts
A fixed explosion-proof body is the right answer where the view never changes: a pump room wall, the side of a tank, the end of a loading rack. There is nothing to wear out, nothing to aim, and the bracket only has to hold one position.
POE carries power and video on a single cable, which matters in a hazardous area because every cable entry is a certified gland rather than a hole in the wall.
Why the gland decides the order
The housing is certified as a unit, and the cable entry is part of that certification. A gland of the wrong size or the wrong type invalidates the protection the body was bought for, and it is the item most often left out of an enquiry.
The anti-corrosion finish is the second item. Coastal air, acid and chemical wash down all attack a standard body, and a repaint on site is not the same as a factory finish.
What to send with the enquiry
Send the zone, the gas group and the temperature class from the area classification drawing, plus the distance to the object you must read. Those three decide the certification, and the distance decides the lens.
Certificate numbers are issued per model and per market, so they are not published on this site. Ask for the current file and it comes with the quote rather than a logo.
Fixed body, as specified
The fixed body is the anti-corrosion unit. Values the sheet does not state are marked for the quote.
| Item | Value | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Body | E1AQ500F-P class | Fixed explosion-proof, anti-corrosion |
| Power | POE | Single cable, one certified gland |
| Mount | Wall or vessel bracket | Per drawing, quoted with the body |
| Cable entry | Certified gland | Must match the housing certificate |
| Certification | Per model and market | Ask for the current file |
| Lens | Per data sheet | Fixed by the distance to the object |
Zone, gas group and temperature class are set by the site drawing, not by the camera. Send that drawing with the enquiry and the body and gland are quoted together.
